Nikole Lowe

New Zealand-born Nikole Lowe is one of the UK’s most renowned tattoo artists. An avid creative, Nikole began studying Chinese art more than seven years ago and now practices Chinese spontaneous-style painting.

Inspired by nature and the changing seasons, Nikole paints freehand onto delicate Xuan paper using minimal strokes and muted colours. This approach not only brings life to each of her compositions but captures a sense of movement and freedom.

Each wallpaper mural design from this collection derives from original paintings by artist Nikole Lowe, hand painted in her London studio. These special paintings combine symbolic imagery drawn from nature with traditional Chinese hand painted brush stroke techniques. We’re extremely excited to collaborate with such a wonderfully skilled and talented artist.
