How to Measure Your Wall

Getting accurate measurements is the key to achieving a flawless wallpaper fit. But don’t worry, measuring your wall is easier than it sounds! We just need to know the width and height of the wall at its widest and tallest points.

Check out the guide below for more details.

Standard Wall

Start by measuring the width of your wall from the left side to the right side at the widest point. Now, measure the height from the top to the bottom of the wall.

Wall With Obstacles

For walls with doors, windows, radiators etc. we still need the full width and height of the wall. You can also measure the obstacle and its measurement from the left/right and we can mark this on your design proof.

Sloped Walls

For sloped walls, measure the widest and tallest parts of the wall. We will provide the wallpaper as a rectangle shape and the sloped area is trimmed away during installation.

Corner Walls

Measure the 2 walls and add the widths together. Measure the height at different parts of the walls incase the walls are not perfectly straight, and use the largest height measurement. We will provide the wallpaper as one mural to ensure the design flows perfectly across the corner.
